Lasting relationships

One of the most wonderful and rewarding parts about my job as a photographer is that I'm not only photographing the outside beauty of people, but I get to experience a deeper look into their heart and minds.

Four years ago, Erin was recommended to me by a good friend for maternity photos. I feel like I've been a tiny part of the growth as their family ever since. Ethan has gone from a bump in the belly to an active three year old boy that for the first time this year could carry on a conversation with me. I always thought there was only so much room in my heart, but as I meet more and more people and become a part of their life I realize the heart has no limits.

It is really important to me that you walk away happy and with photographs that will instill lasting memories, but I want all of my clients to know that with each and every session I walk away feeling blessed to be the one to whom you share your these intimate moments.

Now enough of that sap...here's some photos, past and present...

Tyson's Cake Smash

Excuse me for one blog while I brag and show off some photos of my gorgeous nephew. He's turning one next week so we decided to celebrate with a good ole cake smash. My sister-in-law who is an amazing chef and baker, baked him a homemade cake, deliciously moist and covered with cream cheese frosting. From many a taste tests, I can say it was divine. Obviously his parents have done a wonderful job introducing veggies and discouraging sweets because to my surprise Tyson had NO interest in eating this cake. With Tyson on the verge of tears, we handed him a spoon and suddenly the cake became an entertaining object of destruction.

As they say "The best laid plans of mice and men often go astray"
Happy 1st Birthday Ty!
