A new beginning

This past weekend I photographed the Jensen family. Marcy and Brandon just became proud parents of their first little boy. He was such a great baby, especially since we were taking off all of his clothes and making him lay in awkward baskets right beside the ocean. He fought sleep but finally gave in towards the end of the session when light was just perfect. Personally I think he knew we needed to wait for that golden light. Smart baby.

Surf's up

I was super impressed by this 18 year old as I watched him dive into 50 some degree water without hesitation so that I could capture some surfing images to commemorate his senior year of high school. I waded into the water calf deep, and by the end of the session my feet were numb. In my mind, only intense passion can drive a person to brave those frigid conditions.

Senior portraits should represent passion. Whether it's cooking, art, sports or academics...show off your individuality. These photos are meant to mark the ending of an era, so be creative and show the person you've become.
